A few days ago Sarah attended The Lovely Bones premiere in Ireland with her sister Emma (long time no see! :) ) with both of them looking gorgeous.
A few days ago Sarah attended The Lovely Bones premiere in Ireland with her sister Emma (long time no see! :) ) with both of them looking gorgeous.
A couple of days ago Sarah attended the IFTA Launch Party and was photographed along with her rivals for the Best Supporting Actress for Television.
Sarah also has done an interview with the Irish Herald where she talks about her private life and the fun times she had on the Tudors set. Though the final line gives a clue to a new role in store for her:
The year ahead is also going to be a busy one for young Sarah, as she will be making a new movie with Mary Harren, the director of American Psycho.
I’ll be investigating that later on.
The only project for Mary Harron, director of American Psycho, is The Moth Diaries, based on the YA novel of the same name (see here) – Lily Cole has been linked to the project previously. So that could be the project (as it’s in her age range) though more when i can find it! :)
The time has come again for the 7th Irish Film and Television Awards, last year Sarah was nominated for Actress in a Supporting Role – Film (Spiderwick Chronicles) and Rising Star Award, though both were won by fellow actors Saoirse Ronan and Michael Fassbender respectfully.
This year she’s been nominated for Actress in a Supporting Role – Television for her performance as Princess Mary in the Tudors. From alot of comments I’ve heard and read over the past year (and my own opinion) this is a well deserved feat – hopefully she’ll be successful this year!
Variety have recently published an interview with Iron Cross director Joshua Newton, where he states that they’re pushing for distribution of the film soon. He states that he has completed the film and is pushing for the awards season to get late actor Roy Scheider a nomination.
Though the same site also put a review of the film up a week or so ago – it has now been taken down – but didn’t put it in a favourable light. It also stated that Sarah’s performance was brief – though hopefully it won’t be long till we can see for ourselves how the movie fares.
The updates haven’t been flowing much here, though I’ll hopefully have A Love Divided ready to capture soon – to see Sarah as she was in one of her earliest projects. Though until then I’d like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!
