Updating
Friday, April 16th, 2010Sorry for there being no updates for a long time – computer viruses have alot to answer for. Though I’ve been hearing amazing things about Sarah on the final season of The Tudors so I’ll be updating with captures from that very soon. Keep posted.
BioShock 2
Thursday, February 18th, 2010I was pleasantly suprised when I went to Sarah’s IMDb page to find that she has a new credit. She did a voiceover for a videogame called BioShock 2.
Out of curiousity I found a video on youtube which focuses on Sarah’s characters role in the videogame. You can hear her throughout so I thought it would be a good idea to share it.
Merry Christmas
Thursday, December 24th, 2009The updates haven’t been flowing much here, though I’ll hopefully have A Love Divided ready to capture soon – to see Sarah as she was in one of her earliest projects. Though until then I’d like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!
‘The Tudors’
Friday, December 18th, 2009As some of you may know, next series of The Tudors is the final series and I came across an opinion that I really like:
Perhaps also the producers of The Tudors will consider a spin-off which follows Mary’s [Sarah Bolger] reign – okay so it’ll have to skip over Edward’s reign but the character of Mary, dubbed Bloody Mary by some historians, is a fascinating one which has hardly been touched upon. Instead dramas tend to focus on her father and sister, Elizabeth, rather than her short-lived but bloody, dark and turbulent reign. SOURCE.
I think this is an amazing idea – because it’s true really, there were about 3/4 Elizabeth (mini-)series in the space of 5 years and while Mary was in some of them she wasn’t a major part. It’s suprising though as her story is a sad but interesting one and it would be amazing to see Sarah act out Mary’s decline.
Hot 30 Lap
Thursday, September 24th, 2009While on the search for interviews and articles to put in the press archive I’m currently working at, I came across this funny video of Sarah when she was doing promotion for The Spiderwick Chronicles for a radio station. Watch her doing a lap round the office – so funny!
National Campaign for the Arts
Thursday, September 24th, 2009Sarah’s been out supporting a group dedicated to the promotion of the Arts in Ireland. Due to the recession, jobs have been threatened in the arts related industries and the National Campaign for the Arts is a group that aims to withstand it. I’ve added some images from the gathering she attended and below is a video of Sarah giving her reasons why she supports the cause (from 2.22).
Sarah and Barnardos
Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009Due to my neglect previously, I had missed out on alot of the work that Sarah had been doing with Barnardos, she participated in a Big Toddle photo launch with toddlers and getting involved in the promotion of issues such as ‘Written out, Written off’ which deals with the importance of staying in education.
I thought that you’d all be interested, showing what a well rounded individual Sarah is for giving up some of her time for a special cause.
